Try Before You Buy

Here's a short clip of my teaching style. We hosted a "Try it, You'll Like It" sample writing workshop at Arts Escape and this is the introduction to the workshop.

My most important goal in a classroom of any size is to make sure the students feel safe. Writing can provoke lots of memories and feelings to rise to the surface and onto the page and a person has to feel safe and supported in order to do so.
