Writing Through Grief
Every other Tuesday 6-7:30pm

Writing Through Grief registration
This group is an extension of a workshop held last year when participants expressed a desire to keep going. Research shows that writing can be a healing way to deal with challenging life situations such as loss. Grief is often experienced in community and this writing group will allow participants to explore their own writing as a path through grief. New participants welcome.
starts March 12th.

$10 per person/per session
All sessions held at:
Vicinanza Studios & Gallery
493 Heritage Rd, Southbury, CT 06488

It Was Great!

A Day of Her Own Women’s Writing Retreat was a wonderful day of writing, sharing, connecting and some snacking!
The women wrote together or individually and brought projects or allowed inspiration to fill their pens and journals.
Our host was gracious and generous and I think I can safely say that everyone got some work done.
Keep an eye on this space for another retreat coming in Spring 2024.

Try Before You Buy

Here's a short clip of my teaching style. We hosted a "Try it, You'll Like It" sample writing workshop at Arts Escape and this is the introduction to the workshop.

My most important goal in a classroom of any size is to make sure the students feel safe. Writing can provoke lots of memories and feelings to rise to the surface and onto the page and a person has to feel safe and supported in order to do so.
